The first intracollege sporting events was held at Kota Samarahan Mini Stadium on the 7th and 8th of February, 2009. The opening of the sporting events started with track events. Athletes from Medical College took parts in all the field and track events. However, Medical College athletes were able to grab two silver medal in woman 400M event by Ms Liew Li Li and in discuss  event by Mr Saiful Hisham Salbani. Although Medical College did not excel in other event, their participation in all events was a challenge to other colleges.

On 14-15 Feruary 2009, Kolej Perubatan take part in mixed event (Badminton, Table Tennis , Carrom and Archery). Badminton,carrom and table tennis was held at UNIMAS Hall while archery held at Kompleks Sukan, UNIMAS.

Carrom team from Kolej Perubatan grab the gold after beat Kolej TAZ 3-2 at final. Meanwhile for badminton and table tennis didn’t reached semifinal for the first time in this tournament. En. Ismuni as a Chief de Mision not regret for the result because the players already give the best for the team. He hope for the next tournament Kolej Perubatan will give their best.

Kolej Perubatan is situated adjacent to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and about half kilometer from Sarawak General Hospital. Kolej Perubatan is also known as Kolej Lot 77 because it is located at Lot 77, Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce, 93150 Kuching. The first intake was in July, 2002.
